SERP snippet previewer
Check that your title and meta description fit before Google cuts them off.
Google decides what to show and often rewrites titles and descriptions. Treat the limits as a guide: titles are cut at about 600 pixels on desktop and descriptions at roughly 155 to 160 characters.
How to use it
Paste your page URL, title tag and meta description. The meters turn amber and then red as you approach the point where Google is likely to truncate them. The title meter measures pixel width, not characters, because a title full of wide letters like W and M runs out of room sooner than one full of i and l.
Write the title for the person searching first, with the main keyword near the front. Write the description as a short pitch for the click. For more on the basics, see where to start with local SEO.
